Round table on the development of Russian-Jordanian cooperation in nuclear energy held in Amman

On 23 April a round table on the development of Russian-Jordanian cooperation in the field of nuclear energy and the training of qualified personnel was held in Amman in the framework of the joint project on the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Jordan.
The Russian delegation was led by Milos Mostecky, Rusatom Overseas’ (a subsidiary of ROSATOM) vice-president.
Representatives of the State Atomic Energy Corporation "ROSATOM", as well as leading universities in nuclear physics of Russia participated in the negotiations.
The Jordanian side was represented by the leadership of the Jordanian Nuclear Energy Commission, the Jordanian Nuclear Energy Company, as well as the largest universities of the Kingdom, interested in establishing interuniversity cooperation in this field, including the Jordan University, Balqa Applied University, the Jordanian University of Science and Technology (JUST), the German Jordanian University and Hashemite University.
