Born in 1950 in Moscow.

Graduated  from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 1972.

Occupied various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and diplomatic missions abroad.

1972-1976 – Consulate General of the USSR in Annaba (Algeria)

1979-1985 – Embassy of the USSR in Algeria

1990-1995 – Counselor, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of the USSR, the Russian Federation to Morocco.

1995-1999 – Head of the Desk, Deputy Director of the Department of the Middle East and North Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

1999-2004 – Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Lebanon.

2004-2008 – Deputy Director of the Department of the Middle East and North Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

2008-2013 – Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Morocco.

13 December, 2013  appointed the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Jordan by presidential decree.

Holds diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Foreign languages: French, Arabic and English.

State awards:

Gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation;

Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 2nd class

Foreign awards:

National Order of the Cedar of Lebanon, «Grand Officier»;

Order of Ouissam Alaouite of Morocco of the highest grade («Grand Cordon»).

Married, with two adult sons.
