To obtain an ordinary visa, the following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy:

  1. Completed visa application form (one per person) available at the Consular Section.
  2. The passport that contains personal data of the bearer.
  3. One identical passport-size photo of the applicant with a light background and preferably on a matte paper.
  4. Original Invitation from your relatives, friends, private companies or government organizations in Russia issued by the FMS (Federal Migration Service) and send it by mail to your address.

Copies and documents sent by fax are not acceptable.

The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy in order to obtain a tourist visa:

  1. Completed visa application form (one per person) available at the Consular Section.
  2. The passport that contains personal data of the bearer.
  3. One identical passport-size photo of the applicant with a light background and preferably on a matte paper.
  4. Standard tourist confirmation from the authorized hosting Russian travel agency or a hotel, registered with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a voucher from a partner Jordanian travel agency. The confirmation must contain the Russian travel agency's reference number and a registration number.

If you want to extend your visa while in Russia you should apply to the FMS (Federal Migration Service) in the area of your residence in Russia.

Important:

Russian tourist visa can be issued for not longer than one month.

When entering Russia with a tourist visa, you are also required to present at the Russian border check point your tourist confirmation, the voucher from your hotel and a return ticket with a fixed date of departure from Russia. You will also have to prove that you have sufficient funds for your travel. This does not apply to cruises and tourist groups.

If you are going on a cruise and wish to go sight-seeing, you should get a visa as explained above. Your cruise sponsors must provide you with the name and reference number of the Russian organization which will be responsible for this cruise.

Consular fees. Visa fees for the citizens of Jordan are: 50 J.D. for one week processing; 100 J.D. for urgent (less than one week) visa processing.

For multiple entry visas: 149 J.D. for one week processing; 297 J.D. for urgent (less than one week) visa processing.

Important:

If you apply for a visa valid for more than three months or a student visa, you must submit HIV Test (AIDS) Certificate.

Other notes:

Visa fees are not refundable.

Visa processing starts only after we have collected all necessary documents.

If you fail to follow the above-mentioned requirements, your visa application will not be processed. If the papers are not acceptable for any reason or some documents are missing, we will return it.

After you receive your visa please check it for mistakes and, if necessary, return it to the Consular Section for corrections.
