The reception on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day

On February 22, Military attaché of the Russian Embassy in Amman hosted a reception on the occasions of Defender of the Fatherland Day and 100 anniversary of the establishment of the Red Army.

The reception was attended by representatives of the Jordan Armed Forces, ambassadors and military attachés of foreign states, high-ranking officials, representatives of Jordanian media, Russian compatriots and graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities.

Guests had the opportunity to obtain the manuals and handbooks contained the information about the armament of the Russian Armed Forces and exported modern models of military equipment.

During the reception there was also a video presentation on the Russian Aerospace Forces anti-terrorist operation in Syria and the Russia's efforts to find a political solution of the Syrian crisis.
